What to do in Toledo (links updated August 2002)

Zurück Nach oben Weiter

Toledo is a vibrant and beautiful midwestern city which combines the pleasures of suburban living with an exciting big-city atmosphere. The city's historic "Old West End" is the largest collection of Victorian homes east of the Mississippi and is the largest turn-of-the-century residential neighborhood in the U.S. The Toledo Museum of Art has an impressive glass collection. The city has an orchestra, an opera guild, Crosby Botanical Gardens, and the Toledo Zoo, with an open-air amphitheatre. Nearby are the Crane Creek State Park and the Toledo Raceway Park for horse racing. Toledo has a successful minor league professional baseball team, the Mudhens, and has recently started a professional hockey team, the Toledo Storm. No matter what your interests, there is plenty to see and do in Toledo.

Toledo is just one hour south of Detroit and Ann Arbor, an hour and a half from Cedar Point, and two and a half hours north of Columbus.
