Odd One Out

There are some jet fighters and a paper flyer to be seen in the picture.

The jet fighters stand for the USA and their allies and the paper flyer stands for a person protesting against the war.

On this paper flyer is the inscription: “No War”!

The people who are against the war are just a small minority but they stick to their opinion: “No War”! But the USA are going to attack further because they have the plan to bring freedom to the world using force.

Moral massage: Everyone should defend their opinion if they are sure they are right.

Homing in on the Target

George W. Bush has hit a wall with an arrow. To make sure that he hit the right spot he is painting concentric circles around the arrow with a brush. Holding a paint-pot,  he explains his strategy to some  world leaders: " First we shoot the arrow and then we draw target around wherever it lands."

This cartoon criticizes the propaganda message that American bombs always hit the right targets. (Author: NN)

The Sum of all Fears by Uncle Sam

The symbol of the USA, Uncle Sam, has already gone into the trap of Afghanistan and now he's trying to attack Iraq with a huge hammer in his hands. But Saddam Hussain, who is sitting in the middle of the trap, is in safety, because if the trap shuts down, it will miss him. But Uncle Sam has his right leg in the trap of Iraq, so he's in danger, and he'll lose his next leg when the trap shuts down.

The message of the cartoon is that the USA aren't able to annihilate Saddam's regime, just like they weren't able to destroy the Taliban regime for good. But there might be a time that the hiding forces hit back.       written by Prasanath Johnson, OIIIc

Bull's Eye

George W. Bush is standing in front of a white wall, with Rumsfeld, Powell and Franks sitting behind him. Suddenly an arrow hits the wall at ramdom. Then Bush draws the target around the bull's eye.
Moral: First George W. Bush acts and then he says that everything was  planned in advance. ©Nibras Naami
