Use particples to join sentences. (15')

1. Everyone can claim human rights. They can do so even if they have a different or a different skin colour. They might speak a different language, think different things or believe in another religion. They might own more or less, might be born in another social group or come from another country.

2. Some people are rich and powerful. But they do not have the right to treat you as their slave.

3. If you have been hurt by someone, you have the right to go to another country and ask it to protect you.

4. As soon as a person has come of age, he or she has the right to marry and have a family. When they do this, neither the colour of your skin, the country you come from nor your region should be a hindrance.

5. You have the right to think what you want, to say what you like. There should not be anybody who forbids you to do so.

6. You are influenced by the culture and the social system of the society in which you live. You should be helped to make the most of your possibilities.

7. When you are employed in a company, you have the right to rest and should be able to take regular paid holidays.
